This painting is of Polzeath Beach in Cornwall.

I researched many photos of this beautiful ​beach
and painted this with pallet knives and brush strokes.

The textures one gets with useing paint with a pallet knife
helped create the effect I was looking for which was an explosion
of colour and atmosphere.

This painting was commissioned by Dominic Leese of Polzeath Holiday Cottages.
