Marco Pantani a true Italian Legend..
He was a natural climber at a very young age..
and during his professional career won the Giro d'Italia
and Tour de France in 1998
in the same year..

He was the subject of a recent documentary which underlined his natural talent and love
for cycling which has to be one of the most demanding of all sports.
 

His natural ability at climbing any hill from a young age as an amateur soon catapulted him to stardom in professional cycling which unfortunately came with its pitfalls.

Sadly like many great stars he died at a young age but his legend lives on.
